This Giving Tuesday, we're asking for your help to continue changing lives. Since our start, we’ve celebrated incredible milestones. We now support 100 athletes across 14 states and have proudly seen our first two students graduate high school. One of them is continuing her education in college and pursuing her passion for softball. These successes show the powerful, lasting impact that sports can have on a child’s future.
Growing Our Team, Expanding Our Impact
We’re thrilled to share that Put Me In! is growing, with Danielle Staunton joining us as our new VP of Development—our second full-time hire. Danielle will lead our fundraising efforts, enabling us to support even more children of incarcerated parents. With Danielle on board, we’re poised to reach more families, build stronger communities, and empower more children through the transformative power of sports.
The Philosophy of Compounding Good
At Put Me In!, we believe in the philosophy of "compounding good." Much like compounding interest, small, consistent investments in our young athletes grow over time into something far greater—life-changing opportunities that shape their futures. A simple gesture, such as buying a new pair of cleats or covering a registration fee, funds lifelong lessons in resilience, teamwork, and confidence. These lessons build on each other, leading to improved academic outcomes, enhanced mental health, and greater community involvement.

Recently, a mentor shared a phrase that struck me deeply: "I got as good as I gave." This sentiment resonates with the community that has supported me throughout my life and now supports Put Me In! We are immensely grateful for everyone who has helped us grow and make a difference. I’m also proud to be a monthly donor myself, knowing that each contribution builds toward a brighter future for these kids.
